JODI MOVES offers pilates and fitness classes in the heart of Cape Town.
Jodi moves provides classes and private sessions outside during Summer (on the promenade), and indoors when winter. Fun, energy and well being are the main point of focus in the classes, as well as exercising the body in a healthy way, to avoid or recover from injuries.
Our mission is to provide classes for everyone and to share our love for movement in a warm and welcoming environment.
Jodi van Stuivenberg – owner and instructor
Jodi has had a very big passion for dance since a very young age, which led her into the dance academy at the age of 10 years old. She trained at the academy for 11 years and graduated with a Degree in Dance in Education at Codarts, Rotterdam, the Netherlands. At the academy, she learned various techniques, which include: ballet, contemporary, jazz, street dance, hiphop, African dance, as well as fitness-focused styles, such as: pilates, yoga and other exercises to strengthen the body. Jodi has worked with a wide range of people and has gained a lot of experience nationally and internationally. She is very dedicated to help others understand the benefits of health and movement and is eager to teach people how to make this a part of their lifestyle. You can expect a fun and energetic class, with a lot of positivity!
